DECEMBER 2014

Every Gift Makes a Difference

Thank you to everyone who supported Pace’s #GivingTuesday! We raised $76,714, and with the generous $25,000 match from an anonymous alumnus, our grand total for the day was $101,714! #GivingTuesday is truly a day of giving back, and our generous donors make contributions throughout the year that have opened the doors of Opportunitas for so many here at Pace, making it possible for bright young men and women to realize their dreams. To express our deep gratitude, we created a short video called “The Opportunitas Booth.” We’d like to thank as many alumni as possible, so please share the video with your friends and fellow alumni! If you haven’t made your gift yet, please do so before December 31st at www.pace.edu/givetopace. Every gift, no matter its size, makes a difference!.

Reminder: Register before December 8 to save!
Join us at the Annual Alumni Holiday Party at Naples 45 in Midtown NYC on December 10! This is a great opportunity to network with your fellow alumni, catch up with old friends, and make some new ones! Register now to take advantage of our online registration discount.

Spend 5 Minutes and Receive a Big Smile from a New Pace Student
The ASPIRE program is seeking volunteers to write 10-15 handwritten notes of congratulations to newly admitted Spring 2015 and Fall 2015 students. For some admitted students, Pace University is their first choice, and they will be honored to receive a hand-written note from a member of the alumni. Others are still not sure which college they want to attend, and the special outreach from alumni can be particularly helpful to students and their families regarding the benefits of a Pace education. Click here to volunteer.

Wanted: Reunion Ambassadors!
Whether you are celebrating a milestone year, a team of distinction, or just want to gather your friends from your favorite clubs, organizations, and programs, join us for Reunion and Alumni Weekend 2015 in both New York City and Westchester! We need your help to spread the word and plan two incredible weekends. Become a Reunion Ambassador today!

Pace Freshman Is U.S. Presidential Scholar in the Arts
This past summer, Pace School of Performing Arts freshman Gabriela Campo ’19 (Musical Theater) was recognized as a 2014 U.S. Presidential Scholar in the Arts. In all, there are only 20 scholars and each is selected based upon academic, civic and artistic achievement.
